Democratic primary voters in the Tucson and Yuma media markets need to see broadcast television that conveys the message that Adelita Grijalva is one of us, with the critical period being in the weeks leading up to ballots being mailed to voters and through the first week of early voting. She is the daughter of Raul Grijalva who fought for our kids on the Tucson Unified School District Governing Board and for lower housing costs as a Pima County Supervisor. She is deeply rooted in our community. Grijalva has the courage to stand up to Donald Trump who is wrecking the economy, attacking our rights, and going after Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

 

Secondarily, voters throughout AZ-07, and especially those outside of Pima County, need to learn more about her through mail starting now and through Election Day conveying these ideas and that she is endorsed by Mark Kelly, Gabby Giffords, and Ruben Gallego. The most important period for this element is the final two weeks of the election, followed by the weeks leading up to ballots being mailed to voters.

It is important that communication be focused on a positive message promoting Adelita Grijalva.

Any field efforts should take place outside of Pima County District 5.
