AZ AG Kris Mayes Endorses Adelita Grijalva for Congress

Tucson, Ariz. – La Gente for Grijalva announced that Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes endorsed Adelita Grijalva for Congress in the Special Election for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District.

Adelita Grijalva has spent her career giving a voice to the voiceless and fighting to ensure that every person has the opportunity to thrive, no matter their background. Adelita brings both the experience and the political courage we need in Congress - someone who will stand up to the Trump Administration, defend our democracy, and reassert Congress’ vital role as a check and balance on executive overreach. I’m proud to endorse her campaign for Congress,” said Attorney General Kris Mayes.

The Special Primary Election is scheduled for July 15, with the Special General Election scheduled for September 23. The voter registration deadline for the special primary is June 16, and early voting begins on June 18.
