Tucson, Ariz. – La Gente for Grijalva announced a slate of new endorsements from elected officials in Pima County. They join a wide array of federal, state, and local elected officials from throughout Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District that have endorsed Adelita Grijalva for Congress.
“I'm honored to have the endorsement of my friends and colleagues on the Pima County Board of Supervisors in my campaign for Congress. Pima County is my home. It's where I grew up, where my values were shaped, and where I am raising my own family. I understand the hopes and challenges of our communities because I’ve lived them. I’m running to be a voice for working families, to protect our desert home, and to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive right here where their roots are. Together, we will build a stronger future for Southern Arizona,” said Adelita Grijalva.
Rex Scott, Pima District 1 Supervisor, Board of Supervisors Chair
“Adelita Grijalva and I have known each other for over 20 years, and I first saw evidence of her proven leadership in her advocacy for our children and the schools they attend. I’ve seen firsthand serving on the Pima County Board of Supervisors with Adelita, how deeply she cares for our community and how effectively she builds coalitions to get things done — that’s exactly the kind of voice we need in Congress."
Jennifer Allen, Pima District 3 Supervisor
“I had the honor of serving alongside Adelita Grijalva on the Pima County Board of Supervisors, and I witnessed firsthand her unwavering commitment to the people of Southern Arizona. Adelita is a principled leader who understands the complexities of our region—she will fight to protect immigrant communities, defend our environment, and ensure every voice is heard in Washington. I’m proud to endorse her for Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District.”
Andrés Cano, Pima District 5 Supervisor
“Across District 7—from Yuma to Santa Cruz, and from Pima to Maricopa County—our communities deserve a champion who doesn’t answer to billionaires or extremists. Adelita Grijalva has the backbone to take on Donald Trump and Elon Musk, and the experience to deliver in Congress. That’s why I proudly endorse her candidacy.”
